Inventory before emptying the wall
If you want to remove tall cabinets, check what they contain and where each group of objects could be stored. The visually clear surface needs a storage alternative that you can use. Distinguish daily and occasional pieces before moving them to base units or columns, because not all of them require the same position or the same access.
Contrast capacity and circulation space
A column can provide volume and occupy a support section; a low drawer needs an opening path. The small kitchen renovation allows you to study these exchanges with concrete tasks, including the place to prepare and the necessary step during use.
Check the fixings of the new parts
The chosen furniture needs support and fastening systems suitable to the location where it will be installed. Points that remain visible after removal of cabinets should also be resolved. Consult installation of furniture to delimit fixations, preparations and auctions within the work planned on that wall. See also: furniture assembly.
